Just because you have not seen the full manifestation of God’s power in one area of your life, does not mean you cannot, and should not, prosper like crazy in your life!

I’m sure you’ve read the passage where Jesus asks the Father if there is some way to let His suffering pass from Him. He then follows that up by saying, “Not as I will… Your will be done“ (Matthew 26:39, 42). You never have to pray a prayer like that.

When a believer goes through trouble, your average Christian is going to tell them to keep believing the Lord for the victory! “The battle is the Lord’s! Keep believing until you overcome your giant!” But I think they’re reading an old newspaper, because victory happened a long time ago and there’s nothing left to overcome.

All our lives, we have been trained on what so-called “normal“ reactions are to various circumstances. Through TV, family, friends, and even by the impulses of our own unrenewed mind, we have been trained on what “normal” is.

If things are just feeling “off” in your life, don’t believe any of these common misconceptions in the church…

Virtually everyone in the world, and unfortunately every single believer that I’ve ever heard outside of Reform Church, believes in this statement… “Everybody dies.” You yourself may very well agree with that statement. But does God agree with it?

Jesus’ provision for us was finished 2,000 years in the past! There is no need for Him to do anything more for us! And those who have believed, have been perfected by that work in the present! We have received it all! The only thing left for our future, is to manifest everything that we have received!
(more…)Length: 2 minutes
Jesus provided everything for all of humanity in the past. He does not have to work anymore! It is finished! But because of His finished work in the past, we are made perfect and full in Him presently!

Every single bit of the good news that God wants to tell you revolves around the past. Every message that we hear at church should also revolve around the past, because everything that you could possibly need or want was provided once for all time, 2000 years ago.

How many times have you heard about repentance at church? Usually, the church’s definition of repentance is turning your life around for the Lord or at least feeling sorrowful for what you’ve done. But neither of these definitions fit the bill.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking help from natural resources. As we grow in our knowledge, we all do it. Even if it’s as common as eating, drinking, and clothing ourselves from the cold – these are all natural things that we use to help us until our mind is fully renewed.
(more…)Length: 2 minutes
It’s not worth considering the natural resources you have or don’t have, when you’re thinking about what is possible in your life. You’ve got heavenly resources inside of you now, and therefore, you are no longer limited by natural things!

If you ask any Christian whether they want to see the power of God manifest in their life, they will of course say yes. If that’s you, let me tell you that you can see the power of God manifest wherever you need it, but natural thinking isn’t going to do it for you! We need to be spiritually minded.
(more…)Length: 1 minute
I believe that too often we consult with natural resources around us to see whether something is possible in our life or not. If the doctor can fix it, then we feel comfortable that we can be well. If we feel smart enough, then we feel confident the task can get done. If people are favorable to us, then we are at peace that we can prosper.

It’s true that joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Jesus is always happy and He can produce that through you as well (Galatians 5:22). But the Spirit isn’t just happy. He’s happy for a reason! Notice that even when Jesus rejoiced, in the joy of the Spirit, He assigned a reason for it:

Simply due to lack of knowledge of what Jesus has done, sometimes as believers, we think we’ve got such big problems. We magnify the things we go through until we have blown them so out of proportion. All the while, you have the solution to every problem in the universe right inside of you. You’re the envy of all creation.

Philippians 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

When people don’t seem to be enthusiastic about God, when things feel “dry“ (as they say), or if nothing much seems to be happening in our lives, what does the church say? “We need revival!” That’s the church’s word for needing a move of God to spice things up again! And as much as God has nothing against reviving people, we simply don’t understand, that for every believer, you’ve already been revived!

Unfortunately, when believers sin or aren’t mindful of God, they relate to the parable of The Prodigal Son. But this parable is not written about a believer. Here is the truth…
(more…)Length: 5 minutes
Unfortunately, when The Prodigal Son parable is read by believers today, they relate to it, and apply it to themselves when they mess up or are not mindful of God. But this parable is not about you, as a believer.
(more…)Length: 5 minutes
I’m sure you’ve heard it at church before, “When you mess up or stray from God, the Lord is always there to welcome you back with open arms, like a loving Father — just like in the parable of The Prodigal Son.” The problem is, The Prodigal Son is not written about a believer. So, these things are simply not true for you. It’s much better than you think.

Something that believers don’t talk about too much is the respect and honor that we have from God. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that we’ve done some good work to impress God, but because we have chosen to believe Jesus, the Father respects you for that.

Because our flesh has limitations and we are too used to living in it, sometimes we only think in terms of tasks being easy or hard. But for the power of God, one task is not harder than another (in terms of His power).
(more…)Length: 4 minutes
Believers may think that there are times where the power of God is moving through them and other times when it’s not. This simply contradicts everything scripture says.

If you’re a believer, there is never a time when you are void of the power of God. I’m not talking about the power of God inside of you. I’m talking about the power of God manifesting tangibly through you.
(more…)Length: 3 minutes
When a believer makes a mistake, hits a rough circumstance, isn’t feeling well, or finds themselves in a situation that they know is not God‘s will, many feel that their circumstance is void of the power of God. They feel like currently, the power of God just isn’t flowing. This is completely untrue.

Most Christians understand that fear and worry are not from God. But sometimes, if we experience those things, we end up feeling worried about our worry, if that makes sense. We’re distraught because we know fear and worry are not from God, but your feelings are not a problem.

Recently, we have not only been talking about the position Jesus holds, but the position that we hold with Him. We have been made exactly like Jesus now, in our spirit (Hebrews 12:23).
(more…)Length: 2 minutes
We’ve been discussing how we are just like Jesus now. Inside of you, you have everything Jesus has, you feel everything Jesus feels, you think everything Jesus thinks. No exceptions (1 John 2:20, Hebrews 12:23).

In our last part, we talked about how we are at the “top of the food chain“ (so-to-speak) with Jesus. Many Christians have limited, to no knowledge, that they are the same as Jesus in their inheritance.
