What We Believe

At Reform Church, we simply want to know the truth from scripture — even if that means letting go of everything we’ve ever heard before! We have no loyalties to any extra-biblical traditions, denominational tenants, or theological rules. Our only loyalty is to what the Bible says about Jesus. It’s really as simply as that (by the way our name is “Reform Church,” but not to be confused with “reformed churches.”)

  • We believe that salvation (and all of our receiving from God) is through Jesus alone. We don’t believe that we’re saved through any of our work, including water baptism, communion, or any other action of ourselves. Faith in Jesus is all that is required. Works follow by the Spirit, but are never a prerequisite to receiving anything from God (Romans 5:2)!
    .
  • We believe in the Father, who is God over all (John 17:3), in Jesus, who is His equal and the exact representation of His nature (Hebrews 1:3), and in the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of the Father and of Jesus (Romans 8:9).
    .
  • We believe that original scripture is inspired by God. Of course, since we have a multitude of different translations today, translations can be in error, but original scripture is true and is solely meant to reveal the work of Jesus (John 5:39).
    .
  • We believe that New Covenant obedience toward God is mere faith in His Son (John 6:28-29, Romans 1:5, 16:26).
    .
  • We believe that godliness is something God has given us, and performs by His Spirit as we renew our mind — not a service we work for God (2 Peter 1:3, Galatians 2:20, Romans 12:2).
    .
  • We believe that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us and can be given to our body as well (Ephesians 1:19, Romans 8:10-11). This results in people being raised from the dead, healed, and made young and strong, with lengthened days, just like Jesus (Matthew 10:8, John 11:24-25, Psalms 103:2-5.
    .
  • We believe in all the gifts of the Spirit. Also, that they should used by the church as in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. This includes, but not limited to, the ability God has to speak in other languages (1 Corinthians 14:39).

The best way to hear what we believe is through our teachings. At RC, we have some wonderful news to share about Jesus! If you’d like to stick around to hear it, we assure you, you won’t regret it!

Prophecy From 1999

In 1999 the Lord prophesied over Pastor Jose and Miss Kim. At the time, there was little evidence of what was being said, but today it has become a noticeable characteristic of the message we preach.
