Kingdom Came – Part 2: The Revealing (Basic Training)

In this training we discuss how the new heavens, new earth, and even our glorified bodies come from power God has already put inside of us. All of this is released through knowledge.

This article summarizes many hours of teaching from Reform Church and is taken from our Journey Bible Curriculum (soon to be available on our store).

Chapter 1:
The Death Of The Testator: Introduction

Firstly, it’s important that you have already taken the first Journey in this series “Kingdom Came – Part 1: The Hidden Kingdom.” That lays the groundwork for everything we will discuss here. 

Before we begin, let me introduce you to this concept which Hebrews calls “the death of the testator.” 

A “testator” is someone who has a will that goes into force after they die (as when leaving an inheritance to children). To make it simple, we’ll just say “covenant-maker.”

Hebrews 9:15-17 (NKJV) For where there is a testament (a will/a deal), there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.

If you read the context of these verses, you’ll realize that this “testator” (covenant-maker) is referring to Jesus. He’s using an analogy. He’s saying, the same way that someone’s will goes into effect when they die, so the new covenant went into force when Jesus died. 

That means that there is no promise and no benefit in this new covenant that is not already in full force, because Jesus (the Covenant-Maker) has already died. Jesus already paid the price. He’ll never pay again. That should make perfect sense.

Furthermore, Galatians 3:15 says (with an analogy) that when God makes a covenant, He doesn’t add to it later on. This means that God is not going to add benefits to this covenant later on. As we just said, any benefits of this new covenant are already in full force because Jesus (the Covenant-Maker) already died.

Do you know what this means? It means we shouldn’t be waiting on God for anything. Any benefit that God could ever provide us has already been provided. He’s not going to add benefits later on, either in Heaven or when Jesus comes back again. Why? Because Jesus, the Testator, already died. Therefore, this covenant is already in full force and He’s not going to add any benefits later on.

Every benefit we receive needs to be paid for, and the one Payment has already been made. If that’s true, then what are we waiting for? 

Keep those truths in the back of your mind. They’ll come in handy later.

Chapter 2:
It Spreads To Creation

Let’s begin with an important principle: Whatever you manifest also spreads to what you have authority over.

Let me give you an example. When God first created Adam, the Earth was perfect. Nothing died. But God told Adam that in the day that he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, HE would surely die (Genesis 2:17). Take note: the curse was to Adam, that he would surely die, not to creation. Nevertheless, when Adam sinned, the earth and everything in it received the same curse (Romans 8:20-21)! 

Ever wonder why plants and animals die today? They didn’t eat of that tree. They didn’t sin. Adam sinned and Adam was cursed. But when Adam received death and decay it automatically spread to all of creation.

If the curse was to Adam, why would death spread to all the Earth? Because the Earth was under Adam’s authority (Genesis 1:28), and whatever you receive automatically spreads to what you have authority over.

You can also see this with the account of Joseph. Joseph was a prosperous man by the Lord and was put in authority over Potiphar’s house. The Bible says that Potiphar’s house began to prosper “from the time” that it was put in Joseph’s authority (Genesis 39:5). Notice those words “from the time.” That means that Potiphar’s household could not prosper. But the moment it was put under Joseph’s authority, Joseph’s prosperity spread to Potiphar’s house. Why? Because what we manifest spreads to what we have authority over.

Now, let’s talk about us. Jesus has given us all the authority He has. Jesus has been seated above every name that is named and we are “seated” with Him in the same position (Ephesians 1:20-21, 2:6). God has given us authority over all things with Jesus (Colossians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Corinthians 3:21-22). In fact, when referring to those who have the inheritance like we do, it calls them “lords of all” (Galatians 4:1). It’s powerful, but it’s true. Jesus is our Lord, but He has made us lords over all the universe under Him!

Let’s think about this:

• Adam had authority over the Earth > He manifested death > All the Earth died
• Joseph had authority over a household > He manifested prosperity > The household prospered
• If we have authority over all the universe > We manifest Heaven…

What do you think happens to the universe? You got it! Everything becomes heavenly! Everything lives! Everything becomes right! This is called “reigning in life (over creation)” (Romans 5:17).

In “The Hidden Kingdom” we already discussed how Heaven in us spreads to the world around us. Now you know how that works. 

Chapter 3:
The Revealing

Ever heard of the new heavens and the new Earth? That’s referring to when outer space and the Earth are fully recreated.

Note: “The heavens” being made new is not referring to the Heaven where God is. There are at least three heavens. Outer space, evidently, is one of them. The third Heaven seems to be where God is, and that one does not need to be recreated because God’s will is already done there (Genesis 1:8, 14-16; 2 Corinthians 12:2).

Isaiah 11:9 describes the new Earth as having no hurt or destruction anymore. Revelation 21:4 describes it as having no sorrow, pain, death, or tears. Sounds great, but guess what? God is going to literally re-create the heavens and the Earth with a manifestation from inside of you.

People hear about the universe being recreated (2 Peter 3:13) and they think Jesus is going to come back and wave His hand over it to make it new. Not so. The Bible says that creation is waiting, not for Jesus to wave His hand over it, but for what’s inside of you to be “revealed,” because when the life in you is manifested, creation gets it as well!

Romans 8:19-21 (NASB) For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing [or manifestation] of the sons of God… 21 that the creation itself also [in addition to us] will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

The scripture is packed with meaning. It says that creation is waiting for what’s in you to be revealed! Why? What does our manifestation have to do with creation? A whole lot! Because when you manifest the life inside of you, creation gets it as well! Creation is waiting for you to manifest the life in you so that it can be recreated and released from its bondage to decay, just like you! The freedom creation needs is inside of you!

That scripture doesn’t say that creation is waiting for Jesus’ second coming! It says it’s waiting for you to manifest!This tells us that creation is not going to be recreated by a wave of Jesus’ hand, but by a manifestation from within you! This is why, if you noticed, once creation is finally set free from its bondage to decay, Romans 8 says that it will enter into “the freedom of the children of God.” Whose freedom will creation receive? The freedom of the children of God! That means that when creation is made perfect, free from decay, it’s not going to receive its own freedom from God. No, it’s going to receive your freedom, which is inside of you right now, ready to be revealed.

You already have perfection inside of you (Hebrews 12:23). You are already a new creation on the inside (2 Corinthians 5:17). Therefore, when all that “new-creation-ness” inside of you manifests, BOOM! The heavens and the Earth (that you have authority over) become a new creation as well! That’s how this universe gets made new!

Remember, creation is dead and decaying today — not with its own death, but with the death of Adam! Likewise, whenever you manifest the life of God, creation will live – not with its own life but with the glorious freedom of the children of God!

Most Christians are longing for a new Earth. Meanwhile, the Earth is longing for what’s in you.

…and if it’s already in us now, why are we waiting to experience it?

Chapter 4:
The Fountain

Before we read our next passage, remember that the Holy Spirit is called a fountain or a river when He is manifestingforth from us, as we discussed in “The Hidden Kingdom” (John 4:14; John 7:37–39). Keep that in mind as we read. 

There’s much to say about this next passage, but John has a vision of the next age, after Jesus comes back. He sees believers with their glorified bodies (called the new Jerusalem). He also sees the new heavens and the new Earth. Everything is recreated! Look how he describes it:

Revelation 21:1-6 (NKJV) Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem… And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” …”It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

The Lord describes a lot of great things, (namely sorrow, pain, and death disappearing) but He ends by saying He would give us of “the fountain” of the water of life freely. Hold on. Do you realize what this means? The Spirit as a “fountain” is a term for how He manifests from inside of us. God is associating all these wonderful qualities of the new creation with a manifestation from inside of us. This is saying that all qualities He just mentioned come because He will give us of the fountain (a manifestation from within us).

I understand, if you don’t know what the word “fountain” means then this wouldn’t mean anything to you, but once you do, and couple this with what we just read in Romans 8 about “the revealing” of the sons of God, this makes perfect sense.

The only reason why creation won’t have any sorrow, pain, death, or tears is because these things don’t exist in you. And because the Spirit will come up from you like a fountain, sharing this with creation, these things won’t exist in creation either!

The Former Has Passed. All Things New.

If you read Revelation 21 again, regarding the new heavens and Earth, Jesus says, “The former things have passed away…” Those former things are sorrow, pain, and death. Then He says, “Behold, I make all things new.” Does that terminology sound familiar? It should, because that’s the way the Lord describes you right now!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

This is amazing. Inside of you, the old things (which Revelation says are sorrow, pain, and death) have already passed away! You are already a new creation! You’re already like God inside! The only reason – and I mean, the only reason – why creation will be described this way as well is because your newness will come out of you like a fountain and spread to creation! First, you are a new creation. Then it comes out and makes the universe new as well! First, the former things have passed away for you. Then it comes out and makes the former things pass away for the universe as well.

This is why James 1:18 says that we are the “firstfruits of God’s creation.” That means we are the first installment of God’s new creation. Before the heavens and Earth are made new, we are already new! We are certainly not the first of the present creation. We weren’t even born when the present Earth was created. But we are the first installment of God’s new creation. The new creation begins with us. Then it spreads to everything around us like a fountain!

Everything you will see when the heavens and Earth are recreated is already inside of you now. If there are trees or flowers, birds or creeping things, wind or colors in the sky, every fiber of that new creation will come from a manifestation of what’s already in you now. 

…and if it’s already in us now, why are we waiting to experience it?

Chapter 5:
Our Glorified Bodies

The new heavens and Earth are merely a manifestation of what’s already inside of us. In fact, the same thing goes for our glorified bodies. That’s a term for the new bodies we get, which look like Jesus.

Most Christians think of their glorified bodies similarly to how they think about the new Earth. They think Jesus will come down, wave His hand over us and re-create our bodies. Not so. Even the makings of our glorified bodies are already inside of us. 

Our bodies are called clothing in the Bible. In our next passage, Paul says that he doesn’t want to die and be “unclothed of his body,” but he wants to be “clothed” with a new body. Clearly, he’s talking about his glorified body. But then he says that God has already worked us for this very thing! That means that God has already done all the work in us necessary to have a glorified body. God’s Spirit in us is all the makings of our glorified body.

2 Corinthians 5:4-5 (Literal Standard Version) for we also who are in the tent [present body] groan, being burdened, seeing we do not wish to unclothe ourselves [to take off our body, die], but to clothe ourselves [change our body], that the mortal [body] may be swallowed up of life. And He who worked us to this very thing [is] God, who also gave to us the deposit [or guarantee] of the Spirit;

When Paul says that God has already “worked us” for this very thing, he’s referring to our glorified body. God has already done all the work inside of you for your glorified body. He won’t do any more. He’s already given you His Spirit, which is all the glory you need for a new body (Romans 8:30). Jesus is not going to come down and swap your body for a different one. The glory inside your current body will merely manifest and change your body into a glorified one!You have the “glorified body kit” right inside you. The Holy Spirit inside of you is that kit!

Do you remember how we read from Romans 8:19 earlier, about the “revealing/manifestation of the sons of God”? Well, immediately following that scripture, in the same context, the Bible says we’re only waiting for our glorified bodies to become “seen.” Isn’t that interesting terminology? It didn’t say you’re waiting to “get” your glorified body. It says you’re waiting for it to be “seen.” Why? Because we’re only waiting for it’s revealing! You already have the glory in you. It only needs to be made visible on the outside! It would be inaccurate to say we’re waiting to “get” our glorified body, as if we didn’t have the building blocks for it already. We’re only waiting for it to be seen, revealed, manifested, because it lives inside of us right now by His Holy Spirit. 

Romans 8:23-25 (NKJV) …eagerly waiting for… the redemption of our body… But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

The Spirit Is A Deposit?

If you take another peek at 2 Corinthians 5:5 (above), it says that the Holy Spirit is a “deposit or guarantee” of a glorified body. 

Most preachers say this means that the Holy Spirit is only part of our inheritance now, a taste of it, but a guarantee that we get our glorified body later (the rest of our inheritance). That is not so. If Jesus paid a full price, why would that gain us half an inheritance (Colossians 2:9-10)? The Testator already died! Why would we only have half the benefits?

No, the Holy Spirit is not lacking. He is not part of our inheritance. You can’t get more glory than the Holy Spirit. He is the very glory we need for our glorified bodies. God has already worked us for our glorified bodies! The reason the Spirit is called a deposit or “a guarantee” for the rest is because that glory is not in all locations yet. In other words, you’ve got the full glory, but it’s only in your spirit right now (Romans 8:30). It hasn’t traveled to your body yet. In that sense, you have the full glory, but only in one part of you. It’s in your spirit, with the promise that it will also glorify your body.

Here’s a quick analogy: Imagine you have two bowls in front of you. One bowl is full, with 6 apples in it. The other bowl is empty. If you want three apples in each, do you need more apples? Of course not. You have all the apples you need. They’re just all in one location. You only need to transfer some apples from one bowl to the other.

Likewise, our spirit has all the glory we need (bowl full of apples). You may look at your body and see that it’s lacking (an empty bowl), but that doesn’t mean you need more glory (more apples). You’ve got all the glory you need for your glorified body. You just need to take some glory from your spirit and put it in your flesh! 

You could say, your spirit already has all the “apples”. You’re not waiting for more. You just need to transfer some of the apples from your spirit to fill your flesh as well! That’s how a glorified body works. It’s just glory transferred from your spirit to your flesh. But God already worked you for a glorified body. He doesn’t need to do any more. You already have it.

…and if it’s already in us now, why are we waiting to experience it?

Chapter 6:
Knowledge Releases Manifestation

We learned in our last part that “knowledge unlocks the kingdom from within us.” Bear that in mind.

There are so many scriptures in the Bible that speak about the universe being recreated and the bodies of every Christian being glorified when Jesus comes back. The problem is, most Christians think there’s something special about Jesus’ arrival that will cause these changes. But no, it’s not Jesus’ return that will cause these changes. It’s because when Jesus comes back, for any Christian that does not know Him fully, Jesus will use His own authority to “force-download” them with full knowledge of Himself in an instant. That knowledge is what will cause this great manifestation.

This shouldn’t surprise you. We know, it’s not Jesus’ second coming that releases manifestation. Knowledge is the key.

John says that our bodies will be like Jesus’ (be glorified). But what does he say will cause this? He says our bodies will be like Him because we shall “see Jesus as He is.”

1 John 3:2 (NKJV) Beloved, now we are children of God [like God]; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him [in our flesh], for we shall see Him as He is.

John says we know we will be like Jesus (in our flesh), not simply because Jesus returns, but because, “We shall see Him as He is.” This is not talking about seeing Jesus physically, but knowing Jesus as He truly is (as in 2 Corinthians 3:18). This is crucial. He attributes our glorified body, not to Jesus’ second coming, but to knowing Jesus. And that makes sense, because knowledge releases manifestation.

Paul confirms this. He says the only reason why he was getting partial manifestation at the time was because he saw his Mirror dimly (Jesus is our Mirror – 2 Corinthians 3:18). He’s saying he only understood Jesus partially. Then he says the only reason every Christian will get full results on that day is because we will see Jesus “face-to-face.” That means plain, unobscured knowledge (Numbers 12:8). All of this makes sense, because then or now, knowledge releases manifestation.

1 Corinthians 13:9, 12 (NKJV) For we know in part and we prophesy in part [receive partially]. 

Verse 12) For now we see in a mirror [Jesus], dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Furthermore, Isaiah says the only reason the Earth will be recreated without any hurt or destruction is because there will be full knowledge of the Lord everywhere! Then or now, knowledge releases manifestation. 

Isaiah 11:9 (NKJV) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.

Yet again, Colossians lays out this principle: When Jesus is manifested (to our mind), the glory that we have in us will also be manifested. 

Colossians 3:4 (ASV) When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested [see Him as He is], then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.

Notice, he did not merely say “when Jesus arrives” then you will manifest glory. It says when Jesus is “manifested” (lit. made visible), then you will manifest glory! Then or now, it’s knowledge that releases manifestation.

If you read those scriptures again, you will notice that none of them attribute this great manifestation to Jesus’ mere arrival in His second coming. They don’t attribute it to a designated time in the future. All those scriptures attribute the manifestation of this “Resurrection Age” to knowledge. Knowledge is the catalyst. Knowledge is the trigger. Not a designated date.

Why is this so important? Because, if Jesus’ return causes this manifestation, then we have nothing to do but wait for that day. But if knowing Jesus causes this manifestation, then what are we waiting for? We can know Jesus now! 

• God has already given us His Spirit to lead us into all truth, not some truth (John 16:13). 
• We have an anointing from God that teaches us all things, not some things (1 John 2:20, 27). 
• We have the mind of Christ now, not part of His mind (1 Corinthians 2:16).
• For those who receive the message of the cross, Christ is our wisdom now, not later (1 Corinthians 1:23-24).

All these scriptures make it very clear, not only can we receive knowledge today, but we can be taught all things, not some things. We can have full knowledge of Jesus right now, on this Earth. There’s no knowledge too high for the Lord to teach us (unless you haven’t received righteousness yet – Isaiah 55:7-8).  If you’re wondering how a finite mind can understand an infinite God, it’s because it’s not about the ability of our minds to understand. It’s about the ability of His Spirit to teach. If it were up to your finite mind, you couldn’t even understand what you know about Jesus now (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). You’re already doing the impossible.

Let’s put this all together:

• Jesus (the Testator) died and provided everything.
• We have the makings of the new creation in us.
• We have the makings of our glorified body in us.
• Knowledge makes these things come out and we have full access to knowledge in us.

Don’t you see? All the ingredients are here. We already have the glory for the new heavens and Earth. We already have the glory for our new bodies. And we have the knowledge to make these things come out! What are we waiting for to start experiencing these things (Matthew 6:10)?

The Purpose Of The Second Coming

If all of this is true (and it is) then what is the purpose of Jesus’ second coming? I’ll tell you; He’s not coming back to provide anything. He’s not coming back to finish anything. Jesus is only coming back to deal with the unbelief that is hindering everything He already provided!

• To unbelievers, He is coming back to remove them from the Earth and judge them with the devil and his angels (this is not what you think. See our “God’s not angry with you” material).
• To believers, He is coming back to “fill in” any knowledge they don’t already know about Him (I say “fill in” because every Christian at least knows in part, and we can know Jesus fully).

With unbelievers removed and every Christian in full knowledge, no wonder the Bible speaks of everything being recreated after Jesus’ coming — not because anything will be provided or finished, but because everyone on Earth will finally understand what Jesus finished 2,000 years ago (Isaiah 11:9). Knowledge releases manifestation.

While it’s true that Jesus is coming to “fill in the gaps” for Christians, let me tell you, if any Christian receives even an ounce of knowledge or manifestation on that day, it will be because they weren’t using the benefits that were always available to them since the cross. We are able – no, it is our right, our obligation, and obedience – to know Jesus fully now. And therefore, manifest Him fully now.  

If this entire universe is not recreated this very day, it will be because of the unbelief of people toward the cross; not because we are waiting on God. When Jesus said, “It is finished” He meant what He said. If we would, all together, learn what He provided, the heavens, the Earth, and our bodies would be made new now. 

Here’s the good news: even if other people don’t believe these things, you can believe it and walk in all of it today. When people see your body, creation, and the bodies of others being conformed to the image of Jesus, hopefully that supernatural change will be a testament to them that Jesus wasn’t lying when He said, “It is finished.” And there’s no need to wait when something is finished.

Chapter 7:
We Don’t Have To Wait

Seeing as we already have the inheritance and the ability to know it, there’s no need to wait another day to start manifesting these things on the Earth. When Jesus comes back, that’s sort of a “deadline.” That is the latest possible time for a Christian to receive. Whatever you don’t know about Him, and whatever you haven’t manifested, will be brought to full fruition by that time, but it’s not reserved for that time. Scripture makes that very clear.

People will think of verses like 2 Peter 3:13, which says, “we look for new heavens and new Earth.” Sounds kind of like we’re waiting. Also, Romans 8:25 which says that we’re waiting for the manifestation of our glorified bodies (for them to be “seen”). I wholeheartedly believe that. The question is, if we’re waiting, what’s the hold up? People assume we’re waiting for Jesus to provide it. That’s not what it says. We may be waiting for these things to manifest (be seen), but the holdup is our unbelief, not God’s provision. We can start partaking right now. The wait is for us to learn.

Start Receiving Now

Peter understood that there would be a “revealing” when Jesus came back for every believer (even those who resist this truth now), but as for him, he was already partaking of that glory now! God wasn’t holding him up.

1 Peter 5:1 (NKJV) The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed:

Did you know that even for people that are not saved yet, but have an immature faith in the word, they are said to taste of the “powers of the age to come.” That means that they start walking in the things of the new Earth the moment they begin receiving the gospel. 

Hebrews 6:5 (NKJV) and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come…

“The Last Day” Or “When You Believe”?

Despite the scripture we laid out, and the death of the Testator having already occurred, most Christians are still content to wait for Jesus’ second coming to receive glory for their bodies and creation. They’ll say, “I believe, but these things are reserved for when Jesus comes back again.” If that’s you, you’re in the same boat Martha was in. I mean, the exact same boat. But Jesus corrected Martha on this.

Martha’s brother Lazarus had died. Jesus came to raise Lazarus’s physical body from the dead, but what did Martha say? She said she believed Lazarus would be raised from the dead… that is, “in the resurrection, at the last day.” She was telling Jesus, “I believe Lazarus will be raised, when you come back the second time.” If we’re honest, that’s what many of us would have said too. Let’s see what Jesus told Martha.

John 11:24-26 (NKJV) Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

There are two different time periods spoken of in this verse. There is the time when Martha thought she could receive. Then there is the time that Jesus told her she could receive.

• Martha thought she could only receive her brother’s resurrection at the point of Jesus’ second coming.
• Jesus said she could receive at the point of belief.

Like Martha, many of us think that something unique will happen at Jesus’ second coming. Like the bright, shining light from the sky will glorify our bodies and re-create the universe. So, we’re waiting for that last day, like Martha. But no, it’s just the knowledge of Jesus. That’s why Jesus corrected Martha and told her that she could start receiving whenever she believed. He says the same thing to her again in John 11:40.

Notice:

• When Martha said, “In the resurrection,” Jesus said, “I AM.”
• When Martha said, “On the last day,” Jesus said, “He who believes.”

I need to ask you, “Which side are you on?”

Like Martha, Jesus is telling you, “I AM the glory you need. You don’t need to wait for the last day. You need to believe the Resurrection and the Life who’s with you right now.”

Those who believe now will receive now. Those who wait to understand at Jesus’ second coming will receive then, but it’s been available all along. If you’re waiting for Jesus’ second coming for anything, I implore you with all my heart to reconsider. The Testator already said, “It is finished,” and if it’s finished, why are we waiting? We don’t need to wait for Him to finish something. He’s waiting for us to believe.

And for those wondering, Jesus then proceeded to raise her brother from physical death – an act that Martha and most Christians believe is reserved for Jesus’ second coming.

Glorified Bodies

We’re not waiting for anything, even our glorified bodies. The Bible makes it so simple. It says that the power which is toward us is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. 

We all know that this power raised Christ up and gave Him a glorified body. Every Christian believes that. We also say that we have this same power! But what’s the use in saying we have that same power if it can’t do the same thing for us that it did for Jesus? In that case, we might just say we have “part of His power.” No, we have that same power and God wants to give that very power to your mortal body!

Ephesians 1:19-20 (NKJV) and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Romans 8:11 (NKJV) But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

We have the same power that raised Jesus’ body and God wants to give that life to yours! 2 Corinthians 3:18 also says we can be transformed into the same image of Jesus’ glorified state.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord [Jesus’ glorified state], are being [present tense] transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

When it mentions “the glory of the Lord” that’s talking about Jesus’ glorified state, in His glorified body. It says we can be transformed into that same image! 

The word transformed means to “change the outside, the appearance.” That means God wants to change your external appearance (your flesh) into the same image of the glorified Jesus. 

Unfortunately, most Christians only want to be transformed into certain parts of Jesus. Maybe just His love. His kindness. His example. Anything that looks more “human,” but not His same image. Not the glory of His body. Not the full wisdom of His mind. We’ll sing songs about, “Make me more like Jesus” but when the rubber meets the road, I’m sorry to say, many only want part of Him. 

If someone doesn’t believe we can be transformed into all the attributes of Jesus, it is incumbent upon that person to state a percentage. What percentage of Jesus’ image is accessible? Which attributes should we be transformed into? The Bible says, “same image,” and same image means same image.

Paul, on the other hand, wanted all of Jesus! Paul said he had not yet attained to the full power of Jesus’ resurrection, he had not attained to Jesus’ full perfection in his flesh, but he believed he could apprehend it. Did you catch that? He believed he could! Paul still hasn’t gotten there, but he can always be raised to take another crack at it.

Philippians 3:10-12 (NKJV) …that I may know Him and the power of His [Jesus’] resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings [Galatians 2:20], being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead [Jesus’ resurrection]. 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

If you think all of this is hard to imagine – perfect! That’s a manifest token that this is true. Everything God has prepared for us is too big for our own heart to imagine according to 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. If it weren’t big, if it sounded ordinary or “human” then it wouldn’t be what God has prepared for you. What God has given us is so big, it takes His Holy Spirit to reveal it to us. 

Chapter 8:
Nothing Further Will Be Finished

As we near the end, let’s go all the way back to the cross.

At the cross, in John 19:30, Jesus said, “It is finished.” That word “finished” is the word “teleō.” It literally means “to end, to complete.” That’s what Jesus was doing at the cross. He was completing all the work necessary for every benefit He would ever want to give us. He will never do that again.

But in Revelation 21:6, after Jesus’ return, most translations quote Jesus as saying, “It is done” which sounds very similar. ASV translates it, “They are come to pass” which is a little better.

Revelation 21:6 (ASV) And he said unto me, They are come to pass… I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain…

This term, “They are come to pass” is the Greek word “Ginomai,” which means “to come to be, or come into being.” 

When Jesus says, “It has come into being” He’s referring to everything being made tangible, manifest, born! We know this is what He’s referring to, because if you read that verse again, He goes on to talk about the fountain (and we know that fountain means everything is coming out)! Upon Jesus’ return, everything will have come out of every believer.

So, at the cross Jesus said, “It is finished.” But when He comes back again, Jesus will not say, “It is finished.” He will simply say, “It has come into being.” This is huge. Why? Because this means Jesus is not going to finish anything in His second coming. 

• The new Earth will not be finished on that day.
• The new heavens (outer space) won’t be finished on that day.
• Our new bodies won’t be finished on that day.

If none of these things will be finished on that day, then when were they finished/provided for? I’m glad you asked! At the cross!

Jesus only made one payment for all time, so it shouldn’t surprise us that all these things were paid for and finished at the cross! When Jesus comes back, at best, at latest, everything will have simply “come into being” for any Christian that didn’t know these things before. But these things have been sitting around, available for 2,000 years. If we’re waiting for another day, we’re waiting for something that’s already finished.

It’s true, at latest, Jesus will come back and bring to fruition anything we haven’t already partaken of (1 Peter 5:1), but if the words “It is finished” are already behind us, then what are we waiting for? Today is the day to receive, today is the day to enter, today is the day to enjoy the new things provided to us. Let’s not wait. Let us go up at once and possess it (Numbers 13:30, 14:21-24)!  

God has not reserved these things for a day to come. The only day God has ever designated for us to enter the things of the new Earth is “today.” We will discuss this further soon, but the “rest” referred to in Hebrews, which God says we should enter “today,” is referring to the new Earth.

This “rest” is called the glory-filled earth:

Compare Hebrews 3:11 and Numbers 14:21, 23. 

This “rest” is a land, symbolized by Canaan:

Compare Deuteronomy 3:20 with Hebrews 4:8

Everything’s finished. Everything’s done. The day God has designated for entering it is “today.”

Chapter 9:
Questions And Answers

Understandably, this will be way too much information for most people. I would recommend not teaching much of this to your audience except under specific circumstances when you are well-versed in this topic. Keep it simple. Just share what you know (2 Corinthians 4:13).

If Jesus Will “Download” Every Christian With Full Knowledge, Why Doesn’t He Do It Now?

In short, because it would destroy everyone who doesn’t believe, and Jesus doesn’t want to do that now. He’s giving them more time.

Here’s the longer version. This is my opinion:

The only reason every Christian will be “force-downloaded” with all knowledge is because Jesus will use His own authority to subject everything to His will on that day (Philippians 3:21). Sure, that’s great for Christian’s who don’t know Jesus fully, because they’ll get full knowledge. On the other hand, if Jesus subjected everything to His will, that would mean He would have to judge the devil and all unbelievers, bringing them to justice because it seems that when Jesus subjects things to His will, it has to be everything. It’s all or nothing. I don’t know why. This is my opinion from what I’ve seen so far.

For Christians, that’s good. For the devil and those who belong to him, not so good (see our “God’s Not Angry With You” material). 

Jesus doesn’t want to subject everything to His will now because He knows there are still people that will get saved and haven’t yet (called His elect). He doesn’t want people to be destroyed before having opportunity to be saved (2 Peter 3:9, Matthew 13:29). 

That’s why Jesus doesn’t use His own authority to subject our minds to His will. Because it seems He would have to do it for everything, all at once.

None of this means we can’t know Jesus fully right now. Just because Jesus does not use HIS OWN authority to download us with full knowledge, doesn’t mean we can’t use OUR OWN authority and rights (which He has given us) to know Him in full (see Chapter 5).

Here’s an analogy:

If you weren’t feeling well, you could come to me for prayer. I can use MY OWN authority, and the spirit in me, to instill healing in you (Acts 3:6). On the other hand, even if I’m not with you, you can receive healing on YOUR OWN rights and authority that God has given you for healing. You can receive healing straight from inside of you (John 7:38).

It’s the same with Jesus’ return. He will use HIS OWN authority to change things on that day (Philippians 3:21), but since He’s holding off, we’ve already been given OUR OWN rights and authority to access the grace of God now (Romans 5:2). That includes full knowledge of Jesus (John 16:13; 1 John 2:20, 27; 1 Corinthians 2:16; 1 Corinthians 1:23-24).

Why Does The Bible Say The Universe Will Be Recreated After Jesus Comes Back?

In short, it’s only people’s unbelief. If everybody believed what Jesus already provided, the universe would already be recreated.

Let’s get into it: Isaiah 11:9 shows us the recipe for a new Earth. It says that the knowledge of the Lord needs to cover the Earth for it to be recreated. That means everybody needs to believe. Why is that? Because even if we knew Jesus fully, there are a lot of people on Earth that are stopping the flow of the power of God in their circumstances (Ephesians 4:18). Therefore, that does not allow the whole Earth to be recreated. Rather, the Earth gets a mixed bag of results. Some belief and some unbelief on the Earth means some of God’s power and some not.

But for the sake of argument, let’s just say that there were no unbelievers on the Earth, and we all knew Jesus fully! Wouldn’t that re-create the universe? Yes, it would. Buuuuut… (we’re about to go deeper here) think about this: 

Jesus is going to come back immediately following the last of His “elect” being saved (see our “Last Days” material). That means, when the last person gets saved (whom Jesus knows will receive Him) Jesus will come back immediately. There wouldn’t even be enough time for that last person to learn and grow to full knowledge of Jesus. They just got saved after all! Immediately following their salvation, Jesus is going to come back.

So, if everybody believed, that would speed up the coming of Christ (2 Peter 3:12), but everything wouldn’t be recreated before His coming. Why? Because Jesus is going to come back immediately following that last person’s salvation, not even giving enough time for them to grow.

If everybody believed, it would speed up the second coming of Christ, but technically, everything wouldn’t be recreated before Jesus came back.

All of that is a hypothetical. The Bible currently says that most people won’t believe in Jesus (Matthew 7:14). That doesn’t affect how much we can believe and receive, but that’s what the Bible says about others. While there are still people on Earth that aren’t believing Jesus fully, the Earth will continue to get a mixed bag of results until Jesus comes back, removes unbelievers, and fills in the gaps in every Christian’s knowledge. 

Sidenote about people’s unbelief: God has prophesied plenty of negative things in scripture, but when people repented God would change the original meaning of that prophecy because the person changed their heart (1 Kings 21:27-29). So, while it’s prophesied that most won’t believe, as with Nineveh, I would take that as a warning, but endeavor to get as many people believing in Jesus as possible (Jonah 3:4-5, 9-10). Perhaps we can change the fate prophesied over these people. 

The vitally important thing to know is: If the universe hasn’t been recreated yet, it’s not for lack of provision on Jesus’ end, it’s for lack of understanding on ours (we also discuss this in the last section of Lesson 4).

As for you, you can believe in full, receive in full, and walk in Heaven on Earth now. Other people’s decisions don’t affect you. That brings us to our next question.

What would the Earth look like if I manifested in full, but others were not?

Well, we already know how that looks because there is at least one person that has already manifested in full. That’s Jesus.

We know it wouldn’t re-create the universe automatically because Jesus already manifested in full, and the universe wasn’t recreated (for the reasons we stated above).

But what do we see in Jesus? We see His body is fully glorified. His circumstances surrounding Him are perfect. He is experiencing no problems whatsoever. All of this, despite the destruction that’s still on the Earth.

Knowing that Jesus is our forerunner, the example of our inheritance when we manifest in full, that’s exactly how it will look for us (see our “Just Like Jesus” material). You would be walking around in a glorified body. There would be no hurt around you. There would be no disease around you. There would only be healing and prosperity around you. All circumstances pertaining directly to you would become perfect, but not for everyone else.

I know this is how it would look for us, because that’s how it looks for Jesus right now. But Psalms 91 describes this as well: When you receive the protection of the Almighty, no plague (disease) comes near you, no evil approaches you (Psalms 91:10), but there will be destruction going on elsewhere in the Earth (Psalms 91:7). Also, Isaiah 54:14 says that oppression would be far from you. Terror would not come near you. It’s like living in a new Earth bubble. You’ve got newness and healing manifesting around you in a corruptible world. That’s what it looks like while you are manifesting, but others are not.

What Does This Manifestation Do To Plants, Animals, And Inanimate Objects?

Ok, sure. Since you’re still reading after all this time, let’s get into the weeds a bit. Literally. 

All I know is that the characteristics I see in the glorified Jesus can manifest through me and go to creation. Therefore, I know that doesn’t include sickness or disease, for instance. That goes for plants and animals too. I know God has given life for my body (Romans 8:10-11) to make it eternal. Therefore, that same life can be given to plants and animals, but there are some exceptions with non-human things. Here’s what I know:

Animals

God has given plants and animals alike for food. At least for as long as we have a body that needs that nourishment. Therefore, as long as human beings still have human flesh, these things are given for food (Genesis 9:3). Killing an animal for food is not only justified; it is correct. Because God is for the life of humans before the life of an animal, if an animal’s meat sustains the life of a human, God approves of killing it. Not because that was the original intention in the garden of Eden, but at least for now. I’m sure when our bodies are glorified, things will work differently (although a glorified body has the ability to eat. Even Jesus ate fish (an animal) in a glorified body. I don’t have more information than that – Luke 24:41-43).

That being said, yes, you can raise your puppy from the dead because life can be given to creation! But if in another culture, they eat dogs (sorry), that is also acceptable because it’s sustaining human life. Could you raise that dog up after it’s been eaten and “disposed”? Sure! God’s great at forming things from dirt. But let’s not get too deep into that.

Plants

Plants differ from animals. Adam and Eve ate plants, even before there was “death” (Genesis 1:29). That shows that eating plants or vegetables is not seen as “death” the same way that killing/eating an animal is. I would assume plants at that time did not die from disease or old age (withering), but could be consumed, chewed down for digestion, thus taking another form. That is not seen as “death” for a plant because plants don’t have the “breath of life” as man and beast do (Genesis 7:15).

When our manifestation is shared with creation, I don’t doubt that would prohibit disease and withering to plants (God blesses plants for our sake Deuteronomy 28:4), but that would not prohibit us from consuming them. 

Inanimate objects

How would our manifestation affect inanimate objects like cloth, rocks or metal?

I don’t have a lot of information about this, but I can say for certain that we have all the beauty of Jesus in us, and whatever creation looks like when it’s filled with God’s glory will be beautiful! Even if we don’t know exactly what it will look like, we can share our life with it and beautify it if we know Jesus.

Nevertheless, I know that the Bible says that the destruction of “moth and rust” is not a part of our inheritance (Matthew 6:19). Therefore, rust on your car, for instance, is removed by the inheritance inside of you. Rust is not a part of your inheritance.

Cloth is not “alive,” so there’s no reason to think that cutting it or tearing it is somehow contrary to our inheritance, but Israel’s clothes stopped wearing out as they walked 40 years in the wilderness (Deuteronomy 8:4). That means that even for something inanimate like cloth, the glory of God affects it, giving it longevity. While I’m sure it could be cut, there was not the same law of decay working in their clothes, breaking it down, the way that you would find in ordinary cloth.

Rocks? I have no clue! I know that all creation can receive our freedom, according to Romans 8:19-21, but I don’t know what that looks like in things like rocks. I do know that it looks beautiful! All I need to do is look at Jesus and everything gets made perfect. Even if I don’t know what that looks like yet.
