Let Go Of The Things That Make You Poor

God is not asking us for any payment for the things He’s given, but when things hinder our knowledge of Jesus, those are things we should certainly let go of — not as if we’re offering it to God, but for our own sake. Trust me, when you give something up to know Jesus more, you’re not making a sacrifice. You’re letting go of the things that make you poor, for a Wisdom that wants to make you rich.

Being “On Fire For God” Does Not Equal Knowledge

There is a term in the church today — “on fire for God.” Ultimately, this is a term that is used for someone when they are extremely enthusiastic about God; often accompanied by a lot of very fast and visible results.
