It’s true, when we know Jesus, miracles happen. When we believe Him, God’s glory manifests. When we learn Him, we find rest for our souls. The problem is, these things can’t happen if the “Jesus” we know is the wrong one.

In the church today it’s much more common for someone to say, “The Lord will provide“ than it is for them to say, “The Lord already provided.“ It’s much more common to say, “The Lord always shows up right on time“ than it is for them to say, “The Lord already showed up.“ That’s because we don’t realize, the cross already did what we’re asking God to do.

Have you ever heard of a “lukewarm Christian“? It’s the term people use for Christians that lack commitment in living their life for Christ, but that was never God’s intention when using that word — not even close.
