A quick thought for you today: In Numbers 13:26-33, when the people of Israel spied out the land of Canaan, they were seeing so much in front of them, and they allowed themselves to be overwhelmed with the magnitude of what they were seeing.
Sometimes there may be big things, or just little things that pile up, but the awesome thing is, “We are well able!” That’s the reality of what Caleb tries to minister to them.
Numbers 13:30 (KJV) And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Jesus is not overwhelmed by all the difficulties in the world today. He’s not overwhelmed by all the things we see in our lives today. He looks at everything in the world and knows that He already finished everything needful for it! That’s why none of it is overwhelming!
Since Jesus finished it all, we know we’re well equipped for all of it. All the power we need for every circumstance in our day is right here inside us. We are well able!
