Preoccupied With Jesus

Length: 1 minute

It’s funny when people get so preoccupied with whether they have enough faith or not. It monopolizes the minds of some people, as if that is something useful or profitable.

Meanwhile, faith is a preoccupation with Jesus. It’s a realization that we have nothing, and can do nothing of ourselves. And we don’t have to be anything of ourselves. Jesus is everything to us — everything that we could never be on our own.

If you really wanted to boost your faith, you’d get preoccupied with who Jesus is to you, instead of who you are — you would get preoccupied with who Jesus is and what you no longer have to be for yourself. Faith is a preoccupation with Jesus, not a preoccupation with your fleshly self.
